Low-income SSS members can receive direct cash support through the government’s UPLIFT program (Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport). This is a PHP2,000 cash aid that is distributed to qualified members of the Social Security System who have already been identified to be part of below minimum wage earners in the Philippines. Filipinos who belong to the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) as conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Created under Executive Order No. 110 to help families cope with rising fuel, food, and transport costs following the 2026 energy emergency, the program places qualified SSS members under Group 3. Payments are credited directly to enrolled SSS disbursement accounts, with no paperwork or office visits required.

Qualified SSS Members
To be included in Group 3, you must meet all of the following:
- Belong to the employed sector
- Appear in the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) conducted by the PSA
- Have a Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) of ₱20,000 or below
- Have paid at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026
- Maintain an active SSS disbursement account as of April 30, 2026
Only one qualified member per household can receive the assistance.
How to Claim Your Monthly Assistance
There is no application needed to register for UPLIFT for SSS Members. You simply need to go and log in to your My.SSS portal online.
- Check your eligibility – Make sure you meet all the criteria listed above.
- Wait for automatic selection – No need to apply or register. The government will automatically identify beneficiaries by cross-matching SSS membership data with the 2024 CBMS list.
- Log in to your My.SSS Portal – If you qualify, you’ll be notified through the My.SSS portal or your registered SSS email.
How Payments Arrive
Once identified, the ₱2,000 is credited monthly to the existing SSS disbursement account from July through December 2026. An acknowledgement regarding a disbursement account confirms it is ready to receive funds, with actual UPLIFT payments following as monthly releases roll out.
Members are advised to keep their accounts active and contact details up to date to avoid any delays.
No Application / Registration Needed
No application or registration is required. Enrollment is automatic for eligible SSS members who fall under the low-income earning bracket.
The system cross-matches SSS membership data with the 2024 CBMS list to identify qualified members. If you meet the eligibility criteria, UPLIFT payments will be credited directly to your registered SSS disbursement account each month, with no further action needed on your part.

As of August 3, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reported that over 978,000 low-income SSS members have already received their ₱2,000 UPLIFT Assistance for the month of July.
These households belong to Group 3 — employed individuals earning a Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) of less than ₱20,000, with at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026, and an active SSS disbursement account. The SSS directly handles the release of funds into each qualified member’s registered bank or disbursement account.
Group 3 beneficiaries are entitled to receive ₱2,000 monthly for six consecutive months, from July to December 2026.
Across all program groups, more than 4.4 million households had already received their July UPLIFT assistance as of that date. This includes:
- Group 1: Over 2.8 million 4Ps households and 214,000 Walang Gutom Program recipients
- Group 2: Over 417,000 of the target 2.5 million poor and near-poor families identified through the 2024 CBMS data
The DSWD emphasized that the UPLIFT Assistance is a targeted program — meaning eligible beneficiaries do not need to apply or visit any office. Payments are released automatically to those who qualify, designed to cushion the impact of rising commodity prices and the ongoing energy emergency.
