The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco offers notarial services for those who need an Affidavit of Support & Guarantee (ASG), which is frequently meant to be used within the Philippines before departure.

The Philippine Consulate General, located at 447 Sutter St., San Francisco, California 94108 USA, is where Overseas Filipino Workers who live in San Francisco can apply for ASG. The applicant has two options to apply: booking an appointment through email or personally visiting the PCG office. However, there is a daily limitation that is based on first-come, first-served. The PCG office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Please be advised that certain requirements, such as a valid passport or ID, must be submitted with the ASG application form.

The existence of an ASG does not guarantee the issuance of a visa or admission. It is a sort of form for the documents required to obtain a visa. ASG documents are usually requested by Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) authorities from Filipinos who get assistance from their relatives or who plan to visit relatives in San Francisco.
