No Scholarship Project from DSWD
The DSWD does not currently offer any scholarships; the AICS or Education Assistance program is the only form of financial assistance they provide for education purpose and if you are in crisis. If you see a post on social media or another website promising DSWD scholarships, be careful because it might be fraudulent.
This AICS cash assistance is normally a financial aid and it is given to selected students only once every schoolyear.
Important Reminders
Tomorrow, August 27, 2022, only appointment from DSWD FO8 and priority number from DSWD SubField Offices will be processed by the office. No walk-in clients shall be processed.
Reminding all those who received an appointment text message from DSWD FO8 and those who have priority number if DSWD SubField Offices to make sure to bring the following documents COMPLETELY:
1. One (1) original and one (1) photocopy) – Certificate of Enrolment/Registration/school ID/ statement of account;
2. Original and two (2) photocopies of valid I. D of parents or guardians (if the beneficiary is a minor) OR Original and two (2) photocopies of valid ID of the student applicant if already of legal age.
The valid ID to be submitted must be VALID meaning:
- Not expired. It needs to be valid on the day of applying for Educational Assistance; If it is a school ID, it is for School Year 2022-2023;
- Not fake;
- Signature is fine, unless Philsys ID;
- It’s better if there’s a picture
