OFWs who reside in Singapore can apply for an Affidavit of Support and Guarantee (ASG) for their relatives who are visiting Singapore at the Philippine Embassy, which is located at Level 16 (Lobby B), #12A, 13-14, Devonshire Wing, TripleOne Somerset Building, Singapore 238164 (Temporary Address).
The Philippine Bureau of Immigration conducts inspections on people traveling abroad to stop illegal recruiting and human trafficking. Immigration officers in Singapore may request that foreign visitors who are Filipino produce an “Affidavit of Support & Guarantee” from a Filipino citizen residing in Singapore. This document, which is the only recognized form, needs to be verified at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore.
The sponsor needs to submit documentation of their residency and financial standing while applying for ASG. As evidence of documents, bank statements, a contract of employment, and a residence card are needed.

Qualifications
Any Filipino living in Singapore who has relatives who is of first- or second-degree consanguinity or affinity may apply for an ASG to sponsor them.
First- or second-degree consanguinity or affinity includes the following:
- Children
- Parents
- Spouse
- Brothers/Sisters
- Grandparents
- Grandchildren
- Parents-in-law
- Son/daughter-in-law
Requirements
Each document must be presented with two (2) photocopies and one (1) original.

- Regular Processing – $42.50 (per document) – Two (2) working days, if submitted before 12 noon, same day (3 PM release).
- Expedite Processing – Additional fee of $17.00 per document – If submitted AFTER 1:00 PM: the following day (expedite processing appointments after 1:00 PM are no longer possible).
How to Apply for ASG at the PH Embassy in Singapore in Osaka

Step 2: Click “Consular Services” under Appointment.
Step 3: Click “Consular Section”.
Step 4: Click “Consular Processing”.
Step 5: Read the Alert Message then click “OK”.
Step 6: Choose your preferred date and time then click “Next”.

Step 7: Fill in all the “Appointment Details” needed.

Step 8: Scroll down then tick the four (4) boxes and click “Next”.
Step 9: Verify the information and click “Submit” to book your appointment.
Step 10: Check your e-mail for your appointment confirmation. If the email did not appear in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
Step 11: Complete and compile the needed documents.
Step 12: Visit the Philippine Embassy in Singapore within 10 minutes of your appointment time. Bring all the required documentation in both its original and two (2) photocopies.
Note: Due to seating limitations, no early or late arrivals will be accepted. Since the Embassy is a common facility, it is not permitted to linger, sit, or eat in the lobby area.
Step 13: When you arrive at the Embassy, input your registered phone number on the self-service kiosk.
Step 14: Proceed to the Embassy’s Notarial Window and submit the required documents.
Step 15: The Embassy personnel will get back to you for your signature after reviewing the documents you submitted.
Step 16: Sign the documents in front of the Embassy personnel.
Step 17: Your documents will be reviewed by the Embassy personnel.
Step 18: Pay the notarial processing fee (Cash or PayNow).
Step 19: The Embassy personnel will inform you when the documents are going to be released.

Important Reminders
- Every document must be legally translated into English.
- NO Appointment, NO Entry
- On-site photocopiers are not available. Bring whatever you need to prevent inconveniences.
- After six (6) months, unclaimed documents will be disposed of, and any payments paid will be forfeited.
- The applicant must sign the documents for notarization in front of Embassy personnel on the day of filing.
