What is Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus

The Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus is the new and improved program launched by the Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) in partnership with the UnionBank of the Philippines and Asia United Bank (AUB). It enables members to enjoy exclusive rewards and discounts on groceries, fuel expenses, restaurant bills, tuition fees, hospital bills, and more from its over 300 partner establishments nationwide.

In addition, it serves as a cash card where Pag-IBIG members can receive their loan proceeds, dividend payouts, and benefit claims, making it convenient to withdraw their funds. It comes with extra banking features, functioning as an ATM Visa Debit Card connected to an account with the partner bank.

Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Vs. Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus

In 2014, HDMF launched the first Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card to provide extra benefits and discounts to its members. The agency partnered with various establishments to give exclusive perks and discounts to active Pag-IBIG members nationwide. In 2019, HDMF revamped the program, releasing the improved Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus – a cash card for members to receive various benefits, such as proceeds from Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) and Modified Pag-IBIG II (MP2) dividends.

The agency released the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card as a membership ID. Meanwhile, the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus has an EMV chip and additional banking features. It acts as an ATM card and is purchasable one time without expiry. Furthermore, it serves as a reward and discount card, allowing Pag-IBIG members to claim freebies and discounts from partner establishments throughout the Philippines.

Therefore, the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus is the enhanced version of the original membership card, only used for availing perks and discounts. With the new cash card, Pag-IBIG members can enjoy additional banking features, such as claiming loan proceeds, withdrawing from ATMs, depositing savings, and earning interest rates based on their outstanding balances. Members can also use the cash card to pay their expenses for groceries, hospital, tuition fees, fuel, restaurants, and more.

Perks & Features

By availing a Pag-IBIG Loyal Card Plus, you can enjoy the following perks and features:

Convenient and Functional Cash Card

With the collaboration of UnionBank and AUB, Pag-IBIG Fund created a functional cash card that enables a convenient banking experience. It functions as an ATM card with an EMV chip, making it possible to perform banking transactions. Also, HDMF is collaborating with other banks to offer this feature to other members.

Affordable and Lifetime ID

The Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus does not expire, so members only need to purchase it. It functions as a regular debit card and is one of the affordable government. However, the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus is not a primary or secondary valid ID issued by the government. Members can only use it for Pag-IBIG Fund transactions.
