Terms of Scholarship Award

The awardee is required to:

  • Enroll in the necessary academic courses each semester and study either full-time or part-time (for UPOU) at one of the designated training institutions.
  • Maintain a grade point average/general weighted average that meets the Graduate School’s requirements of the university and fulfill all academic obligations to continue benefiting from the scholarship program.
  • Abide by the terms and conditions stated in the Scholarship Contract, which will be agreed upon between the awardee, DOST-SEI, and the Training Institution.
  • Serve in the Philippines on a full-time basis after completing the degree, working in the field of specialization, for a duration equal to the period for which the scholarship was granted.
  • In the event of not completing the program within the designated study period or failing to fulfill the service obligation, the awardee must reimburse the scholarship grant with 12% interest.
