Notarial services are available at the Philippine Consulate General in Sydney for Filipino nationals abroad who want to submit notarized documents, including the Affidavit of Support & Guarantee (ASG), which is often intended to be used in the Philippines just before departure.
Notarial services are available exclusively by appointment. Before scheduling an appointment, please make sure you understand all of the requirements. On the day of the appointment, please bring all of the requirements (filled out in BLACK ink). Philippine Consulate General in Sydney is located at the Philippine Center, Level 1, 27-33 Wentworth Avenue Sydney, NSW 2000 Australia. A passport and a valid ID must be submitted with the ASG application. PCG’s office is open Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The issuance of a tourist/visitor visa or admittance into the country cannot be guaranteed by the presence of an ASG. It serves as a kind form for the supporting documents required for getting a tourist/visitor visa. ASG documents are usually requested by Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) officers when Filipinos are sponsored by relatives or intend to spend time with relatives in Australia.

Filipino residents living in Sydney must submit an Affidavit of Support & Guarantee (ASG) to sponsor relatives up to the fourth degree. The first- to fourth-degree categories are listed below:

Requirements
For the ASG requirements, provide an original and a photocopy of the following, filled out in BLACK ink:

- Notarial Fee of $45.00
- Express Post envelope/satchel

How to Apply for ASG at the PCG Office in Sydney, Australia
Step 1: Click and open the link for the appointment at PCG Sydney here – https://bookpcgsydney.timetap.com/#/
Step 2: Click “Login” if you already have an account. But click “Register” at the top if you haven’t created an account. You have to provide your email address and create a password. Once you have registered, you have to click “Login” and enter your email address and password.
Step 3: Scroll down and click Next.
Step 4: Choose Notarial Services then click Next.
Step 5: Choose suitable date and time then click Next.
Step 6: Fill up the needed information, especially with the asterisk (*), then click Save.
Step 7: Save the booking confirmation. To create a reminder, click “Add to calendar.” A confirmation email and a reminder email will be sent to you 24 hours before your appointment.
Step 8: Prepare all necessary documents.
Step 9: Arrive at the Consulate fifteen (15) minutes ahead of time for your appointment. PCG might not be able to assist you quickly if you arrive late for your appointment, and you might have to schedule another one.
Step 10: Submit the original and photocopy of the documents and valid IDs along with the express mail envelope/satchel.
Step 11: Sign the documents in front of the PCG personnel/official.
Step 12: Pay a $45.00 notarial fee and $18.00 for expedited release.
Step 13: Wait patiently till the documents are notarized and delivered.

Important Reminders
For fast processing, keep in mind the following reminders.
- At the time of the appointment, please complete the information in the ASG form and ensure that all necessary documents are attached before proceeding to the counter.
- If requirements are not met, applicants may not be assisted and may be requested to schedule another appointment.
- Your application will be rejected if the supporting documents you submit are unclear, incomplete, or without sufficient information.
- There must be official English translations of all documents.
- Affidavit of Support & Guarantee (ASG) documents do not need to be filed by children (17 years of age and under) or seniors (60 years of age and above).
- The document(s) must be signed in person by the applicant(s) in front of personnel or officials from the Philippine Consulate.
- For the document to be notarized, the name on the passport and the applicant’s legal name must match. The notary’s signature has to match with the applicant’s passport and any other valid ID.
- Any fabricated or altered documents that are handed over for notarization or authentication may be seized by personnel or officials of the Philippine Consulate. Legal action will be taken against the owners of the necessary documentation as well as the fixers.
