Affidavits of Support & Guarantee (ASG) that are filled out, signed, and completed in front of a consular official or representative may be notarized, legalized, or consularized by the Philippine Consulate General in Queensland.

The Philippine Consulate General, located at Level 11, 269 Wickham St., Fortitude Valley, Queensland 4006, Australia, is where OFWs residing in Queensland can apply for ASG. PCG Queensland offers notarial services by appointment ONLY. Please be advised that the application must be submitted with specific requirements, including two valid IDs, attached. Also, the Consulate ONLY accepts cash payments in Australian dollars.

The issuance of a visa, tourist visa, or entrance is not assured by the presence of an ASG. ASG serves as a kind of form for all the documentation needed for entrance, a tourist visa, or a visa. Authorities from the Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) typically require ASG from Filipinos who receive support from family members living in Australia.

  • The Consulate disclaims all liability for any postal delays, misdirected mail, or damage to documents while they are in the courier service’s care. For each envelope used and submitted, the applicant must have a record of the tracking number.
  • The information contained in the documentation is NOT guaranteed by the PCG in Queensland. All that the PCG office can do is handle the responsibility of the document’s sealing so that the Philippines will accept and consider it legitimate.
  • If any requirements are not met, you might be requested to schedule another appointment.
  • The applicant is responsible for continuing the matter with the appropriate department/offices; the Consular Office ONLY notarizes or acknowledges your documents.
  • An email with details and updates about the status of your reservation will be sent to you. The server could take some time to send the email confirming the reservation you made.
  • Look for a confirmation email in your Junk/SPAM folder if, after a considerable amount of time, no email appears in your inbox.
  • Under the inspection of authorized personnel or officials from the Philippine Consulate, the principal or applicant must sign the document(s) in person.
  • If the name on a government-issued ID differs from the applicant’s true legal name, no document can be notarized or consularized. Furthermore, the signature on the notarial document must correspond with the applicant’s valid government-issued ID.
  • Only mail service is available for getting ASG notarized and consularized documents.
