How to Renew OWWA Membership in Amman, Jordan

Filipinos who are based in the country of Jordan and want to renew their OWWA account can visit the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Amman. Aside from this, the Philippine Embassy also conducts Outreach missions wherein they visit other areas in Jordan in order to reach out to Filipinos and provide OWWA renewal services as well as other government transactions. Jordan and the Philippines established diplomatic relations on March 1, 1976. Carlos P. Romulo, then-Foreign Affairs Secretary, and Zaid Al-Rifai, then-Prime Minister of Jordan, signed an agreement that marked the beginning of the two countries’ friendly relationship.

The main objective of OWWA-Amman, Jordan is to ensure that overseas Filipino workers in Jordan have their rights protected under Philippine and Jordanian labor laws, rules, and standards, as well as their employment contracts.

OWWA benefits, which include welfare benefits in times of need, are available to OFWs. The OWWA membership contribution fee will be $25.00 USD, and it will need to be renewed every two years.

Amount of Contribution

The OWWA membership contribution fee will be the equivalent of $25.00 US Dollars or JOD 18.

Membership Validity

Each contribution is valid for two (2) years, regardless of the length of the contract, the change in employer, location of employment, or recruitment agency. If proof of employment is provided, OWWA membership must be renewed after that.

• Completed OWWA OFW Information Sheet.
• A photocopy of the Philippine passport with a photo, name, and signature.
• Copy of current employment contract or Certificate of Employment.
• Membership contribution will be the equivalent rate of 25 US Dollars.

How to Pay OWWA Membership in POLO-OWWA Amman, Jordan

Please check out the following procedure when you walk-in at the POLO office in Amman on how you can renew your OWWA membership.

Step 1: Visit the OWWA office in Amman, Jordan, at No. 113 Al Manar Bldg, Khalil Yassin al Talhoni St., Hay-diyar Dier Ghabar, Amman, Jordan.

Step 2: Fill out the form with your complete name and temperature.

Step 3: Inform the security guard that you are renewing your OWWA membership.

Step 4: Before entering, wait for your number to be called.

Step 5: Present your completed documentation at the OWWA counter.

Step 6: Pay the membership fee to the OWWA.

Step 7: Receive your OWWA renewal receipt.
